The catholic mission of Tai of the Sisters of Mary of Consolation in Ivory Coast

Published on by Kafou Gue

The Catholic mission of Tai built a foyer (a dormitory) with 40 places to allow young girls from neighboring villages to continue their studies in Tai. Without this foyer, those young girls would be able to go to a secondary school. In this Catholic mission, there is also a nursery school, an infirmary and a reception point to identify all children with physical disabilities, in order to raise the necessary funds to send them to Abidjan to undergo surgery, and to correct these handicaps. The Catholic mission of Tai would also like to do other projects such as the creation of a micro-credit for families in difficulty, to restructure a training center for young mothers and to improve and expand coffee and citrus plantations involving the population. To help keep the Catholic mission of Tai and all of its activities, such as support for children with disabilities who need surgery, go to the Foundation's website whose link is below.
